About

Background

Hey Technology Enthusiast,

Generative artificial intelligence tools such as large language models are increasingly used in schools by both teachers and students.

These tools offer significant potential for teaching, learning, and educational administration, but they also raise substantial challenges related to didactics, assessment, ethics, data protection, and educational equity.
Teacher education currently lacks empirically grounded guidance on how generative AI is actually used in everyday school contexts and how it can be integrated into teaching in a pedagogically meaningful way. GenAI-Natives addresses this gap by systematically studying current practices and translating the findings into concrete learning formats and tools for teacher education.
